The Admin team at Malanda Medical Care
Shelley brings her warm and friendly nature and finance experience to our admin team. Her past experience working at Malanda Westpac and Malanda Guardian Pharmacy has made Shelley a familiar face in our community, and a valuable asset to our practice family.
Shelley likes bush walking, kayaking and swimming and spending time with her growing family.
Deputy Practice Manager
Mif is originally from Melbourne where she completed a science degree, then a masters of public health and tropical medicine through JCU. Helping her Mum in a dental practice started her interest in healthcare. Mif has varied experience working in Indigenous communities in both Arnhem Land and PNG for the last five years. She has been involved in community development, teaching English and promoting good health practices, whilst living in these remote communities.
She enjoys spending time with her children and husband, camping and going on adventures together. In her spare time she reads avidly, works in the garden and plays tennis.
Monique is originally from NSW, where she previously worked as a neonatal nurse specialist. Working full time in busy units in Sydney for 16 years was great preparation and experience for her more recent role of farm and family manager.
She loves to entertain, hike, kayak, design, travel, read and garden.
With two growing and active Tablelands girls and a busy husband, she loves family and friend time on the farm, exercising and enjoying this paradise we call home.
Kaylene grew up on the Tablelands where she met and married her husband. They raised 3 beautiful girls whilst running the family farm together.
Before joining our team, Kaylene trained in medical imaging administration whilst working as a medical receptionist at a local imaging business.
Kaylene enjoys socialising with family and friends, loves crafting, camping, kayaking & bush walking.
Maree and her husband moved to the beautiful Atherton Tablelands. She has three wonderful adult children who live in Victoria and Queensland. Her interests include exercising, reading, snow skiing (which she's getting better at) and travelling.
Sarah has had many varied and interesting careers, including many years running her own photography business. After years exploring our wonderful country in a campertrailer with her young family, she is delighted to have settled now in Malanda.
